日本吸煙率21%創歷年最低



日本「煙草產業集團」今天發表吸煙率調查報告顯示，2012年的日本男女吸煙人口比率為21%，創下有紀錄以來的最低紀錄，也是連續17年出現逐年遞減的趨勢。

日本新聞網報導，調查顯示，日本男性吸煙率比去年減少了1個百分點，為32.7%，女性吸煙率減少了0.2個百分點，為10.4%。以此推算，日本的吸煙人口為2千216萬人，比去年減少63萬人。

煙草產業集團將日本吸煙人口降的原因歸結為，日本從2010年以來，實施香菸增稅與提高香菸售價的政策所導致。

JT's Annual Survey Finds 21.1 Percent of Japanese Adults Are Smokers



Tokyo, July 30, 2012 --- Japan Tobacco Inc. (JT) (TSE: 2914) today announced the results of its Japan Smoking Rate Survey, a study that has been carried out annually since 1965. The survey, conducted in May 2012, showed that 21.1 percent of Japanese adults are smokers. Other results are summarized below.

The Company is of the view that the smoking rate in Japan has been on a declining trend. The decrease is due to various factors, including the aging of society, growing awareness about the health risks associated with smoking, tightening of smoking-related regulations and the tax and price hike.

喫煙率２１．１％、１７年連続で減少
日本たばこ産業（ＪＴ）は３０日、２０１２年の喫煙率が前年より０．６ポイント下がって２１．１％だったと発表した。健康意識の高まりや増税による１０年の値上げなどの影響で、１７年連続で減少した。

喫煙者の推計値は計２２１６万人。男女別の喫煙率は、男性が前年比１．０ポイント減の３２．７％、女性が同０．２ポイント減の１０．４％。男性は２１年連続、女性は２年連続減少した。「毎日吸う」人の１日あたりの平均本数は、男性１９．１本、女性１５．２本だった。５月に３万２千人を対象に調査し、６２％から有効回答があった。

政府が６月に喫煙率を今後１０年間で１２％に下げる目標を初めて掲げるなど、喫煙への風当たりは強くなっている。
