China has cautioned that Japan's moves toward joining talks on a US-led trans-Pacific free trade agreement should not affect trade liberalization in East Asia.
Chinese Commerce Minister Chen Deming told reporters in Beijing on Wednesday that China is paying attention to whether Japan joins negotiations for the Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP.
