東電常務董事廣瀨直己將接任社長

東京電力公司8日宣佈，常務董事廣瀨直己被內定為西澤俊夫社長的繼任者。勝俁恆久董事長的繼任者為律師出身的下河邊和彥。6月的股東大會將就此正式做出決定。

為對福島第一核電站事故和隨後的應對不力負責，西澤和勝俁將引咎辭職。廣瀨和下河邊將領導實際上被國有化的東電推進改革。

59歲的廣瀨出生於東京，畢業於一橋大學，1983年在美國耶魯大學完成研究生課程。他於1976年進入東電，歷任執行董事兼營業部長等職，2010年起擔任常務董事，2011年起兼任“福島核事故受災者支援對策總部”副部長。

64歲的下河邊出生於札幌市，畢業於京都大學。他於1974年註冊成為律師，歷任“產業再生機構”外部董事等職，2011年起擔任“原子能損害賠償支援機構”運營委員長。

TEPCO decides to promote managing director Hirose to president

Tokyo Electric Power Co. decided Tuesday to appoint managing director Naomi Hirose as the next president of the ailing utility, which is expected to be effectively nationalized following last year's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant disaster.

The 59-year-old executive has worked at the forefront in dealing with compensation issues related to the nuclear disaster and understands the importance of running business ''through the eyes of disaster victims and customers,'' industry minister Yukio Edano said after he was reported about the promotion plan.

Hirose and incoming Tokyo Electric Chairman Kazuhiko Shimokobe, a 64-year-old lawyer and official of a state-backed bailout fund, have been tasked to play a key role in carrying out a 10-year plan to restructure the utility such as through injection of 1 trillion yen in public funds.

東京電力は８日午前、臨時取締役会を開き、福島第１原発事故の責任を取って辞任する西沢俊夫社長（６１）の後任に、広瀬直己常務（５９）を昇格させる人事を内定した。同日午後に発表する。東電では異例となる営業畑出身の広瀬氏が陣頭に立ち、事故で失墜した信頼回復と被害者への賠償を急ぐ考えだ。

同じく辞任する勝俣恒久会長（７２）の後任には原子力損害賠償支援機構の下河辺和彦運営委員長（６４）が既に内定している。下河辺氏は同日午後、枝野経産相を訪れ、経営改革の要となる新体制が固まったことを報告する。広瀬、下河辺両氏は６月下旬に開く株主総会後の取締役会で正式に就任する。
